Leave it to dashing Chace Crawford to show up at the Kings of Leon concert on Monday evening like Taylor Swift's prince on a white horse.

The Gossip Girl star spotted the country singing teen at the NYC venue and gave her a big hug, according to a witness who dished to Us Weekly. The snitch claims Chace told the 19-year-old, "I'm so proud of you. Don't let anyone ever take your spotlight ever again."

Swift reportedly burst into tears just moments before her live performance at Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards, following her on-stage run-in with Kanye West.

But if that's what she had to go through to receive a warm bear hug from the celebrity she once described as her "celeb dream date," I'm sure Taylor thinks it was all worth it. Cause they were both young, when she first saw him...
