Well, i was a bit shocked by this news. But, come on, there were lots of people who took a picture with Taylor and i guess she didn't realize the symbol written on the guy's shirt. Oh WELL. Just read the article below.
Taylor Swift, the singer behind hits such as "Teardrops on My Guitar" and "Love Story," has worked hard to maintain a pure and clean image over the years, unlike some of her peers in the business.
However, Swift found herself in unfriendly territory the other night when photographers snapped a picture of her standing next to a swastika-clad male at Katy Perry’s birthday party.
Swift’s representatives released a statement to TMZ, stating: “Taylor took pictures with about 100 people that night ... she doesn't know who this guy is and she didn't realize what was on his shirt.”
Apparently, the photo was posted by the unidentified male in the picture, to a message board with a thread titled “Taylor Swift and I Are Officially Dating.”
Most other posters flocked to Taylor’s defense, with one saying “Or maybe you're just a needy loser who harassed her for celeb pics so you could seem cool to a bunch of strangers” and another calling the male a racist.
Swift has not yet responded to the scandal herself.
